Tragic Croydon tram crash victim’s family slam horrifying video showing driver asleep at wheel
Philip Logan's relatives left 'devastated' after fatal accident and angered by video revealed by The Sun on Sunday
A RELATIVE of a Croydon tram crash victim has hit out after seeing footage of a driver asleep at the wheel on the same line.
Lee Sherwood, 46, whose stepdad Philip Logan, 52, was killed in the tragedy, said the Sun on Sunday video left him “angry”.
He added: “How many more times has this happened? If there are more, it needs to be sent to the right people to make sure the correct safety measures are put in place.”
The driver has since been suspended by First Group.
Mr Logan was among seven people killed when a tram derailed at 3½ times the speed limit earlier this month. Lee, of New Addington, South London, said it had left his family devastated.

He added: “It haunts me, just thinking about the day my stepdad died. What it must have been like inside that tram.”
Lawyers representing survivors of the crash claim Transport for London is failing to provide proper counselling.
Helen Clifford, of MW Solicitors, said: “I was told by a client that TfL were only offering six sessions over the phone. It is pathetic.”
