Woman mauled by a dog at block of flats as cops seize beast after rushing victim to hospital
A WOMAN was raced to hospital after a dog brutally mauled her at a block of flats in London this morning.
Police were called to Eastfield Road in Enfield just after 7.30am after reports of a savage dog attack.
London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene and the victim was rushed to hospital.
She was admitted for an arm injury and the dog was seized by officers.
A spokesperson for the Enfield branch of the Metropolitan Police wrote on Twitter: "Police and LAS were called to Herm House, Enfield this morning. On arrival a female was found with serious injuries.
"After treatment by LAS and London's Air Ambulance she has been conveyed to hospital in critical condition.

"The dog has been seized. Further enquiries will take place to establish the circumstances."
Her condition has now been confirmed as non life-threatening.
