Thugs who kicked and stabbed Good Samaritan dad to death as he tried to stop them attacking teen girl are jailed
A GOOD Samaritan dad was kicked and stabbed to death by two thugs when he tried to stop them attacking a teen girl.
Reece Radford, 26, was knifed in the chest by Dereck Owusu, 40, and Louis James, 46, in Sheffield city centre.
The brave bystander had rushed over to help when he saw Owusu punch a 17-year-old girl in the face.
Tragically Reece. who had a baby daughter, couldn't be saved and died six days after the horror in September last year.
Owusu and James have now been jailed for life with a minimum of 15 years and 25 years respectively.
The pair, who were previously convicted of murder, were out in Sheffield when they bumped into a teen girl they knew.

They all shared a drink together before Owusu lashed out at her - causing Reece to intervene.
A fight broke out with Reece ending up on the ground where he was kicked "with vigour" by both men.
He then crossed the road and collapsed after being knifed in the chest while his wallet was swiped by Owusu.
Sickeningly, the thug was seen "swirling his belt in the air" before striking Reece's pal with it while he was on the phone to an ambulance.

Paying tribute, Reece's mum Laura Radford said: "It was not just my son who was killed that night, my family was killed, my heart is broken.
"Reece was the life and soul of this family. He would light a room up as soon as he came in.
"He wasn't just my son, he was my best friend, my soulmate, my everything.
"It is killing me knowing I am never going to see his big brown eyes, never going to hear his laugh or see him grow into the best daddy ever. That has been taken away from us.
"Our hearts will never heal from the loss of Reece - he was special and loved beyond life. We will all miss him forever."
