Jeffrey Epstein accused of ‘distributing child pornography’ in bombshell claim slamming FBI for ‘doing nothing’
VICTIMS of pedo financier Jeffrey Epstein have written to the FBI and Department of Justice claiming the domestic security service “utterly failed” to investigate his alleged involvement in child pornography.
Lawyers acting for Epstein survivors sent a letter on Tuesday to Attorney General Merrick Garland, FBI Director Christopher Wray, and DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz.
It slams the FBI for allegedly failing to investigate "serious allegations involving Epstein's, and perhaps others', child sex abuse materials."
And it calls for the Department of Justice and FBI to launch a comprehensive investigation into the bureau's "abject failure" with regard to the child pornography claims.
The letter lays out how figurative painter Maria Farmer was working with Epstein and his then-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell in 1995 when she says she encountered suggestive photographs of teen girls at his Palm Beach mansion.
Farmer claims that he told her that the photos were of women seeking to model for his business partner Les Wexner's fashion brands, which included lingerie firm Victoria's Secret.
The following year, Farmer was asked to stay in one of Epstein's homes in Ohio while she worked on larger paintings for a film set.
It was there that she claims she was sexually assaulted by Epstein and Maxwell and left terrified of the duo.
She also brought photographs with her to the home, including one of her partially dressed 11-year-old sister.
The photos disappeared during her stay, leading her to confront the pair who she says threatened her with physical violence if she told anyone.

Despite the harrowing threats, Farmer said that she approached authorities when she returned to New York but never heard anything back.
Now 27 years later, Farmer claims through her attorney Jennifer Freeman that federal officials failed to appropriately investigate child pornography that Epstein had in his possession.
A letter written by Freeman and seen by The U.S. Sun says Farmer told the FBI in 1996 that Epstein, and perhaps others, "appeared to be engaged in the production, possession, and distribution of sexually suggestive or exploitative images of children."
The letter states that "child erotica" was found at Epstein's Palm Beach home in 2005.
And it claims that law enforcement "prematurely truncated" their investigation into Epstein's computer hard drives after they were "suspiciously" removed from his Palm Beach estate immediately before it was raided by police.
It reads: "The FBI appears, for years, to have done little to investigate and prosecute Epstein’s sex trafficking, and, to date, done nothing regarding reports of possible CSAM (child sex abuse materials).
"Epstein and Maxwell's victims, and the public at large, are owed a full accounting of the FBI's many failures and missed opportunities.
"The American people, the victims, and the survivors deserve the truth."
It goes on: "We call on the FBI, the Department of Justice and the Attorney General to conduct a comprehensive investigation to determine why there was and remains such an abject failure to timely investigate, expose, and prosecute this unprecedented, decades-long criminal conspiracy which included not only sex trafficking of young women and girls, but also the possession and likely production, distribution, transportation, and distribution of possible CSAM as well."
Freeman, who represents other well-known Epstein victims including Sarah Ransome, said that her clients were trafficked during the same time that the FBI was supposed to be investigating Epstein.
"The FBI's repeated and continual failures, delays, and inaction allowed Epstein and others to continue their sex trafficking conspiracy for nearly a quarter of a century," the attorney wrote.
The bombshell letter comes as a swath of alleged victims has filed lawsuits against various institutions for preventing Epstein from seeing justice for his sick crimes.
Several suits against JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank allege that bank officials knew of accusations against Epstein, but still offered him financial services which helped to keep his sex trafficking operation afloat.
Documents seen by reveal a new list of high-powered individuals, including academic Noam Chomsky, who allegedly met with Epstein, according to his schedule.
The list also includes the director of the Central Intelligence Agency Williams Burns and Kathryn Ruemmler, a top Goldman Sachs lawyer and former White House Counsel under President Barack Obama.
Representatives for both the individuals admitted that the meetings did take place, but said they were strictly business.
Neither of the two have been accused of any wrongdoing.
Chomsky told the Wall Street Journal: “First response is that it is none of your business. Or anyone’s. Second is that I knew him and we met occasionally."
In August 2019, Epstein was found dead in his New York prison cell while awaiting a sex trafficking trial.
His death came just weeks after he was found unconscious with injuries to his neck.
Epstein had pleaded not guilty to charges of sexually abusing dozens of girls, with some of his alleged victims being as young as 14.
His madam Ghislaine Maxwell was convicted at a federal court in New York in December 2021 over five sex trafficking charges and later sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Among the four victims who gave evidence against her during the trial was Maria Farmer's younger sister Annie Farmer.
A spokesperson for the FBI told The U.S. Sun that they have no comment at this time.
