FIRMS are trying to eradicate Britain’s work from home culture by offering staff incentives such as free doggie daycare.
Other perks include extra time off — such as for birthdays and “duvet days”.
It comes amid concern of a dip in productivity since many continued to work from home after the Covid pandemic.
Pet ownership soared by 24 per cent during lockdowns and owners want to work remotely to care for them.
Lancashire County Council is advertising jobs with dog care.
Stationery firm Maison Papier even allows mutts into its London office because it “believes in the fun company culture associated with working alongside dogs”.

Zetter Recruitment, in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, offers “a day off for your birthday” and a “duvet day”.
Petra Tagg, from recruitment company Manpower UK, said: “When employers are really struggling to attract and retain talent, it’s a smart move to find ways to keep employees happy.
“That said, employers need to weigh up the pros and cons before they consider offering pet- related perks.
"They should ask if the benefit is appropriate to their business and will it have an overall positive effect.”
