DONALD Trump’s strategy chief has compared himself to Star Wars villain Darth Vader and God’s nemesis Satan.
In his first interview since Trump’s shock election win, controversial political operative Steve Bannon, 62, also likened himself to former Vice President Dick Cheney.
The former Breitbart News exec-chairman made the bizarre comments while speaking with .
He said: “Darkness is good. Dick Cheney. Darth Vader. Satan. That’s power.”
Bannon, who has been accused of being a white nationalist and champion of the so-called alt-right movement, denied that he is a racist.

He said: “I’m not a white nationalist. I’m an economic nationalist.”
The former movie producer, who reportedly made millions from his financial stake in iconic sitcom Seinfield, said Trump’s presidency would be “as exciting as the 1930s”.
He said: “I’m the guy pushing a trillion dollar infrastructure plan.
“With negative interest rates around the world, it’s the greatest opportunity to rebuild everything.
“We’re just going to throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks. It will be as exciting as the 1930s.”
A former US Navy officer, Bannon once declared that Breitbart News was a "platform for the alt-right" which is a US political movement linked to white nationalism.
