SEARCH and rescue teams have recovered a body after a person was reportedly swept out to sea at Brighton Pier.
The discovery is the second tragedy to hit the seaside town in just 24 hours after a woman's body was found in the water at a nearby marina yesterday.
The body found on Saltdean beach after a 10-hour search by Coastguard helicopters and two RNLI lifeboats has been identified as a 21-year-old man from Brighton.
A spokesperson from Sussex Police said: "His next of kin have been informed.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this tragic incident, but it is not believed to be suspicious.
"We can confirm we are not searching for anyone else in relation to this incident."
