Who is Ben Francis?
Ben Francis is a British businessman and entrepreneur, born on June 4, 1992.
He is best known for being one of the co-founders of the fitness brand Gymshark, which is headquartered in Solihull, England.
He was working as a delivery driver for Pizza Hut after dropping out of Aston University, but quit this job six months after founding the company.
Francis was awarded an MBE in the 2023 New Year's honours list for services to the business sector.

When did Ben Francis found Gymshark?
He founded Gymshark alongside his school friend Lewis Morgan in 2012 when he was 19.
They set up in a garage, with their website initially selling fitness supplements.
The idea came when Francis started going to the gym as a teenager, noting the structure and routine of his training as something he could apply to his everyday life.
He stepped down as CEO in 2016 but remains the chief brand officer of the company, as well as a majority shareholder, currently owning more than 70 per cent of the company.
