Hate preacher Omar Bakri Mohammad ‘freed from prison’ amid fears he will brainwash youngsters
HATE preacher Omar Bakri Mohammad is free from jail, it is reported.
Security chiefs fear he can now brainwash young Brit Muslims online.
Bakri, 65, banned from Britain, is said to have been released in Lebanon last week. He was jailed in 2014 over support for terror group al—Qaeda.
He preached hate from a North London mosque but fled the UK facing arrest for treason after the 7/7 attacks in 2005.
A Whitehall source said: “There are concerns he could still be a malign influence on young people through the internet.”
Syrian Bakri moved to the UK in 1986. He formed banned militant group al-Muhajiroun.
