A BOARD game which German children battled it out to conquer Britain with U-Boats, fighter planes and bomber aircrafts showing the depths of Nazi propaganda has been sold at auction.
The six player game, created at the start of the Second World War was called 'Wir Fahren Gegen Engeland' which translates into 'We Drive against England'.
It was designed in a deluded attempt to inspire hatred among German children towards the enemy.
The board depicts a map of the North Sea showing the United Kingdom and coasts of Norway, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and France.
There are two paths wrapped around the British Isles, one for the Allied Forces and one for the Nazis, which each numbered stop representing a point of conflict.
Each number corresponds to playing card, which contains a number needed to roll in to destroy the enemy vessel or aircraft.
Total victory was ensured once the player had taken over all the silhouettes in the circles, destroying the Royal Navy and RAF in the process.
Players are represented by a plastic submarine or Luftwaffe plane.
