Donald Trump wants to get top-secret clearances for his children – and could appoint them as national security advisers

DONALD Trump wants his kids to have top-secret clearance while he is in charge of the White House.

The brash President-elect has already spoken to staff in Washington about the giving his trusted adult children top-level access, reports CBS.

And despite nepotism laws forbidding Trump from giving his off-spring staff jobs while he is Commander in Chief – he is allowed to make them national security advisers.

This could allow the firebrand billionaire to give his children access to the inner-workings of the White House when he takes office in January.

The property tycoon’s three kids from his first marriage; Donald Jr, Eric and Ivanka, are among his most trusted confidantes.

And along with Ivanka’s husband Jared Kushner, Trump’s children have been central to his successful Presidential campaign and the current White House transition team.

During the family’s interview on CBS’s 60 Minutes, Ivanka denied she wanted a role in her father’s Republican administration and was only interested in being the daughter to the President.

The glamorous 35-year-old insisted that she wanted to instead focus on working women’s issues such as wage equality and childcare.

The former Apprentice host’s children, along with Kushner, have agreed to run the Trump Organization while he takes charge of the world’s most powerful country.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin is sensationally being lined up for a key post in Trump's ultra right-wing cabinet.

The former Alaska Governor and one-time Vice President candidate is among 41 names added to a list of potential member of Trump’s team.

Among them is former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and Ben Carson, who Trump defeated to secure the Republican nomination.
