IVANKA Trump insists she will not be pulling the strings when her dad Donald moves into the White House.
The President-elect's eldest daughter was an ever-present sight at her father's side as he campaigned against Democrat Hillary Clinton.
But now he has the keys to the Oval Office, Ivanka, 35, maintains she will not be whispering in her father's ear.
Speaking alongside her family on CBS' 60 Minutes' Show, the former model said: "I'm going to be a daughter.
"But I've said throughout the campaign that I am very passionate about certain issues. And that I want to fight for them.
"Wage equality, childcare. These are things that are very important for me.
"So you know there are a lot of things that I feel deeply, strongly about. But not in a formal administrative capacity."
Ivanka appeared on the show alongside sister Tiffany and brothers Eric and Donald Jr, stepmum Melania and her soon-to-be-President father.
The Trump children are believed to be entrusted with running the family's multi-billion dollar business empire while Trump is in office.
And the family's first interview since election night saw Trump set out his plans for his first term in office.
The President-elect insisted he was prepared to deport up to three million illegal immigrants while maintaining that he would build a wall along the USA's border with Mexico.
Trump added that his Supreme Court appointments could see pro-life judges allow a ban on abortion in some states.
Wife Melania admitted that she warned her husband to be more cautious with his firebrand Twitter rants in the build up to the election.
But the 46-year-old admitted: "I think he hears me. But he will do what he wants to do in the end."
