Met Police officer jailed after sending ‘appalling’ pornographic image to colleague
A MET Police officer who sent an “appalling” pornographic image to a colleague has been jailed.
PC Liam Boshein, 25, shared the picture — the contents of which are too shocking to describe in a family newspaper — as a form of “banter” in 2019.
Such behaviour is typical in Met cops trying to “impress each other” by sharing grossly offensive content, a court heard.
The image was found as Hampshire Police examined Boshein’s phone during another investigation.
Despite its alarming nature, he said when questioned he had “no recollection” of the image.
Boshein admitted possessing an extreme pornographic image at Portsmouth crown court and was caged for 42 weeks.

His jailing follows that of two fellow Met cops for shocking WhatsApp messages, plus serial rapist David Carrick and killer Wayne Couzens.
