THIS is the chilling moment a twisted uncle drove to dump his niece's body "like rubbish" after stabbing her to death with a metal spike.

Mohammed Taroos Khan, 53, murdered Somaiya Begum, 20, at her home in Bradford in June last year in a suspected honour killing.

At the time, the student was subject to a court-mandated Forced Marriage Protection Order following attempts by her dad to force her to marry her cousin.

Khan has now been jailed for life with a minimum of 25 years after he was yesterday convicted of murder.

He previously admitted perverting the course of justice by disposing of her body and destroying her phone, which was found in a nearby smouldering bin.

Footage released by police today shows the moment Khan arrived at the industrial estate where he dumped Somaiya's body.

The brute had used an 11cm-long 'Bradawl' tool - a sharpened metal woodwork implement - to kill his niece before he "bundled up" her body using a rug and string.

He then left her to "rot and decompose" on wasteland "like rubbish" before she was found 11 days later.

Further footage released by police also shows Somaiya's final moments.

The Leeds Beckett University student could be seen making her way home from her job as a carer in the early hours of June 25.

Just days later, her body was discovered "infested with maggots" with the spike still embedded in her chest.

Prosecutor Jason Pitter KC said: "She had met a traumatic death following a violent attack at her home, the nature of which was demonstrated by the metal spike which was embedded in her."

Bradford Crown Court heard how Khan was later seen on CCTV dragging an "apparently heavy item" from his car onto the wasteland.

When shown the footage, Khan claimed he "had some garbage and had been dumping it".

Mr Pitter said: "In fact, that 'garbage', to use his word, was Somaiya."

Somaiya was living with her grandmother and another relative under the terms of a Forced Marriage Protection Order at the time of the slaughter.

This was due to due to attempts by her father to force her to marry a first cousin from Pakistan "by threat of violence".

He was left "humiliated and incandescent with rage" when Somaiya refused the proposal and informed the police of his plans.

Khan was subject to restraining order prohibiting him from attending the address that had been in place since 2016.

This was due to a conviction for punching his own daughter before holding a knife to her throat and threatening to "chop her up".

Violent Khan had 12 convictions in total including beating his daughter.

Despite the restraining order, Khan visited the home three times on June 25 last year and had contacted Somaiya by phone.

He had a key cut for the property before turning up for a final time at around 3.50pm.

It was at this time that last texts were sent from Somaiya's phone before it was switched off.

The killer then made his way to Carter Gate Works industrial yard and made searches online for "large, one tonne capacity, rubble bags".

His lawyer suggested Somaiya's "humiliated" dad had a "motive" to kill her and had taken a one-way flight to Pakistan not long before the trial started.

But jurors unanimously found Khan guilty of murder after nine hours of deliberation.

Speaking on behalf of Somaiya's family outside court, friend Fatima Patel said: "Their emotions are still all over the place, they're still grieving, but there is some kind of closure for them.
