"Later when I got back from the hospital, my partner was washing blood off the doorstep and a week later I went to drive my car and found there was blood on that too.

"He must have ended up with blood on him.

"He must have known the area, because he knew that pathway and he knew how to run off to the park quickly - I didn't even know how to get there.

"The fact that he's local, and the way he got me to the ground so quickly I couldn't kick him off or do anything at all, makes me think he's done that before.

"I didn't get a chance to see his face, the whole thing felt really quite calculated.

"All sorts of things run through your head, I was thinking 'that's it.' I think I was really lucky.

"When the police were called they thought it was a stabbing - it made me think what if he'd had a knife? I wouldn't have stood a chance.

"I'm only 5ft 4 and my partner always jokes that I could be a teenager from the back, especially when I have my hair up and jeans on. What if I had been a 14-year-old girl?"

She had serious cuts and bruising to her face but managed to make her way to her partner's house and alerted cops.

She said: "I was walking down this darkish pathway that links the main road to my partner's road.

"I'm always careful before I go down it, and look around to see if anyone is there, but there was no one around.

"I'd nearly got to the other side when someone ran behind me - I was shocked because there was no one following me.

"I had got most of the way down the path, I could see my partner's house.

"I thought the person was a runner, so as a runner myself I sort of stood back to the side to let them past.

"But then I was hit fast and hard on my right side and I was pinned to the ground. My face hit the ground and I couldn't move anything at all."

Philippa screamed as the thug attacked her when they suddenly hit a point of 'stalemate.'

She said: "I said: 'What do you want?' and he went 'your fanny.'

"So I said well 'let me up then' and he said well 'you're not going to give it to me are you?'"

Philippa, who lives in Fleet, Hampshire, is convinced the attack was sexually motivated, and is speaking out in a bid to help catch the attacker before he strikes again.

I've got to sleep with the light on now. I can't believe that something that happened so quickly had such a massive impact.

She said: "Going from what he said, yes (it was sexually motivated). But it was easier to just take my bag and run off instead.

"He wasn't much taller than me and I know he was wearing gloves, I remember them pushing against my face.

"It happened so quickly. I still can't feel my teeth, it's quite numb on my right side. I've started having problems moving my right shoulder too.

"I've got to sleep with the light on now. I can't believe that something that happened so quickly had such a massive impact. I don't like being on my own now."

Some of her items were recovered but two iPhone 5S phones are still missing.
