Uxbridge woman attacked – Phillippa May fought off man who battered her and demanded sex
Philippa May is now terrified her attacker will strike again and target a young girl
A WOMAN left with horror injuries following a brutal mugging has spoken of her nightmare ordeal after fearing the next attack could be a sex assault.
Brave Philippa May feared for her life after she was attacked by a thug who demanded sex from her in alleyway.
The 43-year-old released shocking images showing her severe facial injuries in a bid to track down her attacker.
She is now concerned the thug might strike again - and this time target a young girl.
Philippa, who is Head of Primary care engagement at Wexham Park Hospital, in Slough, Berkshire, said: "I was dripping in blood, I didn't realise I could bleed that much.
"Later when I got back from the hospital, my partner was washing blood off the doorstep and a week later I went to drive my car and found there was blood on that too.
"He must have ended up with blood on him.
"He must have known the area, because he knew that pathway and he knew how to run off to the park quickly - I didn't even know how to get there.
"The fact that he's local, and the way he got me to the ground so quickly I couldn't kick him off or do anything at all, makes me think he's done that before.
"I didn't get a chance to see his face, the whole thing felt really quite calculated.
"All sorts of things run through your head, I was thinking 'that's it.' I think I was really lucky.
"When the police were called they thought it was a stabbing - it made me think what if he'd had a knife? I wouldn't have stood a chance.
"I'm only 5ft 4 and my partner always jokes that I could be a teenager from the back, especially when I have my hair up and jeans on. What if I had been a 14-year-old girl?"

Philippa, who lives in Fleet, Hampshire, is convinced the attack was sexually motivated, and is speaking out in a bid to help catch the attacker before he strikes again.
I've got to sleep with the light on now. I can't believe that something that happened so quickly had such a massive impact.
