Tragedy as remains of missing pensioner Michael Conboy are found in park 14 years after he vanished
THE remains of a pensioner who went missing 14 years ago have been found in a park.
Michael Conboy vanished from his home in Saxcourt, north Hull, on April 20, 2009.
Years of appeals brought no good news to Michael's family.
However, they have now had the tragic news the remains found in December belong to him.
The discovery at the end of last year triggered a huge police response as forensics camped at the scene for two weeks.
DNA testing proved it was Michael but a cause of death is still being established.
