Women backed Donald Trump for the sake of their children and their businesses says former presidential advisor

Americans want a world which rewards merit and hard work and women are starting new businesses quickly

DONALD TRUMP has said some truly dreadful and shocking things about women.

But more white women voted for Trump than Clinton in Ohio and more nationally than for his 2012 Republican predecessor Mitt Romney.

It seems possible that many sacrificed their own concerns for the sake of their children.

They didn’t vote for Trump but for freedom from the establishment. He’s hurled abuse at women, Mexicans, politicians – he fears nobody.

He can be counted on to direct that harsh language at Democrats, Republicans, big media and bureaucracy alike.

Then he’ll bulldoze the system to cut taxes, red tape and reduce government.

These women need a fearless, politically incorrect Trump to cut government obstacles to their success.

Women are starting new businesses faster than anyone else. Americans, including women, want a world which rewards merit and hard work, not money and connections.

Of course many women are horrified that Trump said he’ll overturn abortion rights.

But there is a subtlety here: He wants decisions on abortion taken in each state, not decided by Washington.

Many sympathise with his view of the Constitution. But this divides women in America more than any other issue when it comes to Trump.
