Two Brits, 67 & 69, arrested and chilling arsenal of SEVENTY weapons seized as Austrian cops swoop on ‘conspiracy cell’
AT least 70 guns, along with ammunition and possible explosives have been uncovered in a raid, leading to the arrest of two Brits in Austria.
The operation in the town of Kleindiex in Ruden municipality saw two British "conspiracy theorists" along with an Austrian citizen seized.
Reports say the two Brits were aged 67 and 69, while the Austrian is 29 years old.
Along with up to 70 guns, cops found tens of thousands of rounds of ammo, and possible explosives in the house in the small village in southern Austria, close to the border with Slovenia.
Chemical and explosives experts have also been sent to the house just over 40 miles southwest of Austria's second-biggest city Graz.
Austrian media reports that the three "conspiracy theorists" were hoarding weapons and explosives at the dilapidated house.

Among the weapons found were automatic rifles, hunting rifles, and pistols, as well as possible TNT explosives.
Paramedics were called to the house over the weekend for an unrelated medical emergency when they spotted a large number of weapons around the house and alerted police.
Several hundred cops raided the home on Wednesday and arrested all three alleged "extremists".
One elderly neighbour said the arrested residents had "lived a very secluded life there for the last ten years," but added that they had never caused any problems.

Reports in Slovenia claim that the 29-year-old had posted conspiratorial or doomsday-prepper material on social media.
Police spokesman Rainer Dionisio told reporters: "The operation is of a very sensitive nature. The investigation is proceeding very quickly, and the questioning of the suspects is still ongoing."
He added that he doesn't believe there is currently any danger to the general public.
Dionisio also denied rumours that the trio were planning an attack, and said cops had successfully secured the property.
