Why is 'Andrew Tate cancer' trending?'

A leaked document which appears to be a report regarding the health of Andrew Tate circulated on Twitter on March 2, 2023.

The name of the doctor who wrote the alleged report has been censored, but the document suggests that Tate was having treatment for a "lesion in his right lung".

The post, shared by Sulaiman Ahmed, also appears to suggest that Tate was receiving treatment before his arrest in Romania.

Ahmed wrote: "The CT report is extremely alarming. Andrew Tate may have lung Cancer."

What have people said about him having cancer?

The man who is allegedly the manager of the former kickboxer appeared to confirm the rumours on Instagram.

The man, who goes by the name “The Sartorial Shooter”, said on an Instagram story: "OK a lot of people are asking me if Tate lung cancer story is true.

"Yes it's true, I was the one driving with him to and from the hospitals in Dubai.

"I don't have any more specifics to share."

He then posted a link to a Twitter post, which he claimed said more about the situation.

It must be noted that it has not been confirmed that this is legitimate or that this person is the actual manager of Tate.

When did Andrew Tate go to prison?

Tate has been in prison since December 29, 2022, on allegations of human trafficking, rape and organised crime based out of his Romanian compound.

Two co-accused women dubbed "Tate's Angels" were freed on house arrest as a criminal probe continues into Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate.

Former police officer Luana Radu, 32, and Andrew's 28-year-old model lover Georgiana Naghel were both released with strict conditions.

The Tates are  and persuading them to travel to their £600,000 villa on the outskirts of the country's capital Bucharest.

The police statement alleged the brothers would falsely claim to be in love with the young women, before making them perform sexual acts on webcams.
