Dragon’s Den tycoon Touker Suleyman donates £10,000 to The Sun’s Earthquake Appeal
DRAGON’S Den tycoon Touker Suleyman is the latest star to back The Sun’s Earthquake Appeal.
His gift of £10,000 will go directly to fund Red Cross efforts in devastated Turkey and Syria.
That donation alone will be enough to provide emergency food for 400 families for ten days.
The TV favourite, 69, was born into a Turkish-Cypriot family and moved to England aged five.
He went to school in Peckham, South London, before going on to make his fortune in textiles.

Touker told The Sun: “Turkey is very close to my heart.

“We are going flat out to help in this disaster, both from the UK and from my family office in Turkey.”
Rescue efforts following the earthquake, which killed more than 50,000, have been made harder by a series of aftershocks.
The Turkish Red Crescent has already served nearly one million hot meals , dished out 340,000 bottles of water and nearly 30,000 blankets.
