The Dubai horizon is an iconic part of the city's appeal and the latest project, The Dubai Creek Tower will become its centrepiece - with hopes to open it in 2025.

It is a hyper-tall structure that has already started being built - with it on course to become the world's tallest manmade structure.

Costing over £800million ($1billion) to build, the mega project will be an estimated 1345 metres tall.

It will tower over the current tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, which is also in Dubai.

The record breaking skyscraper will be used for observation decks and sky gardens in the clouds.

It is also planned to boast 20 floors occupied with luxury hotels, restaurants and lavish apartments.

The building was put on hold in 2020 during the Covid pandemic.

Thick steel cable arrays will be used to anchor the monster tower to earth and display a resemblance to the stems of a Lily.

And the tower is just one of Dubai's plans - with them seeking to build megastructures across the urban metropolis.

They want to build ";The Mall of the World" - which will change the shopping culture in Dubai forever.

The epic project sees Dubai building the biggest shopping centre the world has ever seen.

Unlike any kind of shopping site on the planet, Mall of the World will cover an outstanding 8 million sq ft.

It is set to house not only the giant retail arcade but luxury hotels, clinics, metro stations, a cinema art school and will even be home to the largest theme park in the world.

The immense £5.8 billion site will be covered in a dome that can open during winter months and close for air conditioning during the sweltering Dubai summers.

Due to the sheer size of the project, full completion is not expected until around 2032.

The shopping centre will smash the Guinness World Record for largest building of its kind with its domed city atmosphere and residential properties.

As Dubai grows into a world famous hub of innovation, the breath-taking city life, ultramodern architecture and lively nightlife continues to dominate the rest of the world - especially when it comes to tourism.

But tourists will soon have a brand new place to stay when visiting the dazzling city.

The Ciel Hotel is on the way to becoming the world’s tallest stand-alone hotel, with over 1,000 rooms spread across 82 floors.

This beast of a building is halfway to completion, currently towering at around 52 storeys high and is set to open in the first quarter of 2024.

Ciel Hotel will reach its final height of a jaw-dropping 365m by the end of the year, making the glitzy silver hotel the tallest in the world.

As well as the deluxe guest rooms and suites the impressive building will also provide premium features for the super rich, such as the Ciel Observatory and Lounge on the 81st floor and a signature Sky Terrace with an infinity pool and Horizon Bar.

Sweeping panoramic views of Dubai’s ever-evolving skyline will be readily available for guests at Ciel Hotel where they will have full access to 360-degree views of the Burj Khalifa, Jumeirah Lakes Towers and Dubai Marina.

The record breaking hotel will dethrone the 365 metre tall Gevora Hotel in Dubai, which currently stands at 356 metres with 75 floors.

But not only are the Emirates taking on projects of their own, they are also partnering with established brands worldwide to elevate their prestige and take themselves to a whole new level.
