Corrie legend Bill Tarmey’s £400,000 bungalow on sale with its own PUB and pool – but NO pigeon coops
1970s-style detached four-bedroom dormer bungalow 'really does have it all', say agents
CORRIE legend Bill Tarmey's old home is up for sale for £400,000.
The property once owned by the late actor, who played pigeon-fancying rogue Jack Duckworth, even boasts its own BAR.
It also has four bedrooms, three bathrooms, an indoor swimming pool, a large driveway, detached garage and extensive grounds.
The detached dormer bungalow is described as enjoying "a secluded position in a prestigious residential area" close to Ashton-Under-Lyne town centre, Greater Manchester.
Agent Rightmove called it "possibly one of the most impressive properties to come to the market recently".
Rightmove added: "This four-bedroom detached dormer bungalow really does have it all.
"The property boasts a plethora of rooms and features that can only be appreciated by viewing."
They include a 1970s-style memorabilia-billed bar and snug.
Bill, a life-long heavy smoker, died aged 71 in Tenerife almost exactly four years ago.
