Woman, 37, found dead in posh flat near racecourse as man charged with murder
A 37-YEAR-OLD woman was found dead in a flat near a racecourse with one man charged with murder.
Darrell Buchanan's body was discovered in a plush apartment complex in Hamilton Park North in Scotland on February 18.
Walter Buchanan, 64, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court charged with her murder on Monday.
He made no plea during the private hearing.
Mr Buchanan was remanded in custody and is expected to reappear within the next eight days.
The case was committed for further examination by prosecutors.

Locals reported seeing a heavy police presence in the area in the days following the grim discovery.
One resident told the : "CID officers have been knocking on our doors.
"We woke up to police in the street. There were plain clothed officers stationed inside the flat block.
"There have been police everywhere, it's very worrying. This is a nice area."
