Celebs including Miley Cyrus, Whoopi Goldberg and Samuel L Jackson called out to keep absurd promises they made before the election
A HOST of celebrities are being urged to "pack their bags" by Trump supporters - after vowing to leave the country if The Donald became President.
Celebrities including Miley Cyrus, Cher and Samuel L Jackson are already being bombarded with tweets insisting they fulfil their promises after the Republican was named President Elect this morning.
Actor Jackson said he would be "moving my black a** to South Africa" if Trump won the election while Cher opted for Jupiter as a safe place to take refuge.
Political satirist Jon Stewart may also be looking for a spaceship this morning having previously told reporters "I would consider getting in a rocket and going to another planet, because clearly this planet's gone bonkers".
Canada proved popular with celebrities planning for life after Trump including House of Cards actress Neve Campbell and comedian Lena Dunham.
Others bidding to leave the country were singer Barbra Streisand and comedians Amy Schumer and Whoopi Goldberg .
One Twitter user said: "I wonder, have Mylie Cyrus and Madonna moved yet? Don't let that proverbial door hit you in the a** on the way out".
While a host of celebrities may be looking to leave the US - one commentator looks set to purchase a one-way ticket in the other direction.
Last week controversial motormouth Katie Hopkins tweeted: "If Donald Trump wins the race to the White House I'm moving America. Daring to bare what some people really think."
But Hillary's celebrity backers may not be alone in their exodus with some voters having offered to buy plane tickets for all in the event of a Trump win.
One user said "if Trump wins I'll buy everyone who RTs plane ticket out of this country".
Other confident Clinton supporters made some bold promises that may impact on their bank accounts.
Another wrote: "If Trump wins I'll give everyone who Rts and follows $500. That's how confident I am."
Promises of marriage and hat eating were also made on social as the votes were counted last night.
Many said they would be leaving the country if Trump was announced as America's next president.
But Trump supporters also turned to Twitter promising to get tattoos, stop smoking and call their mothers more often if he was elected.
Anger has been spilling out into street brawls across America in the hours since the election.
It seems the divisions caused by the vote will continue to cause disputes as America waits to see what happens next.
In the hours since the result was named Theresa May and Vladimir Putin have been among the heads of state to congratulate Trump on his victory.
