Benefits mum-of-12 Cheryl Prudham faces jail after admitting handling cash stolen from parking meters
The scrounger pleaded guilty after the cash went missing from car parks across Kent
QUEEN of benefits Cheryl Prudham is facing jail after admitting handling almost £5,000 in change stolen from parking meters.
The scrounging mum-of-12, who rakes in £40,000 a year in benefits, pleaded guilty after cash went missing from car parks across Kent and south east London.
Estranged husband Robert, 31, is accused of stealing £4,787 from parking machines with Jacob Underwood, 27.
They have denied four offences of theft of £4,787 from Meteor Parking Ltd in January and February last year.
Prudham has also pleaded not guilty to failing to disclose previous convictions to a recruitment firm.
Baby machine Cheryl now lives in Warrington, Cheshire, and appeared by video link at Maidstone Crown Court.
She admitted handling the cash belonging to Meteor Parking Ltd between January 12 and February 14 2014.
Judge Adele Williams adjourned sentencing and granted bail, but warned her jail was a possibility.
She said: "The fact I am re-admitting you to bail and ordering a pre-sentence report gives no indication that the court on the next occasion won't send you to prison.
"All sentencing options remain open."
Last month, Medway Magistrates' Court heard how Underdown and Robert Prudham allegedly took the notes and coins from several car parks in Maidstone, Kent.
One of the car parks was allegedly Darent Valley Hospital in Dartford, Kent.
Earlier this year Cheryl, 34, was pictured browsing Mercedes cars at a dealership near her new home in Wigan, Lancashire.
The part-time cleaner had six children by two different men and six more with now-ex husband Rob.
In July, a petition demanding a cut in Cheryl’s reported £40,800 benefits hit 15,000 signatures.
It came after she said she was saving for a boob job and wants baby 13 with a sperm donor.
She will be sentenced next month, while her ex and Underwood are due to stand trial in April.
