Teen stunned to find strange man’s naked selfies on her Nintendo DS birthday present
The student has blasted the store for not wiping the device's memory in case a child saw the x-rated pictures
A TEENAGER was stunned when she switched on her second hand games console - and found a stranger's naked selfies.
Shannon Bridges received the Nintendo 3DS XL as an early birthday present from her boyfriend, who had picked it up in a second hand store.
But the 19-year-old was in for another surprise when she switched it on and found images of a man in his birthday suit pleasuring himself.
The shocked teen immediately contacted CeX in Cardiff to find out why the console's settings hadn't been wiped.
Shannon, who is studying psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University, said: “I felt so sick – I was laughing at them but all I could think about was if a parent bought that for their child. Imagine if they saw them.
“I thought it was a little bit irresponsible of them to not reset it because this could have been a lot worse.
“Luckily for them I’m just the kind of person to laugh it off.”
Shannon complained on Twitter to the chain, and was told to report it online.

But Shannon said they should have apologised properly and restored the device to its factory settings in the first place.
She added: “Their tweet was so ambiguous I couldn’t understand so I just left it and they haven’t contacted me since.
“I kind of would have liked them to apologise more than ‘sorry to hear this’ because at the end of the day, it wasn’t very nice to see and they were very lucky that this was not someone else or a child, because the consequences could be extremely different.”
A spokesman to CeX said: "Feedback has been provided to the management of the store so that such instances are avoided in future."
