"It's hard waiting. You know, you are waiting for a phone call, you're waiting for something to tell us this is the directions, or this is the house, or this is the car and that is very difficult right now."
Keith said he used the Find my iPhone app to locate his wife's mobile on the side of the road.
"That's when I knew she had been taken, or abducted, in my opinion."
Sherri's sister-in-law Suzanne Papini told the : "We're sick - this is a pretty sickening situation.
"It's good to have some sort of clue. The other portion is that it really points to she's been taken.
"I mean, she wouldn't just drop her phone if she was running away. So, at least it's giving us some kind of information."
Friends and family all claimed she would not abandon her children or husband, while police say she has no known mental health issues.
According to a page set up to help with the search, she is 5ft 4inch tall, weighs 100lb and was wearing a pink running top during her run.
Although cops have not officially stated that it was an abduction, they say they are making contact with known sex offenders and criminals in the area.
