HORRIFIED residents have told how they heard "screams" before a woman and three kids were found "stabbed" in a home.
Cops rushed to the house on Walpole Road in Huddersfield this morning and discovered the two boys and young girl with "serious injuries".
Police have confirmed the kids, all thought to be under the age of seven, were "stabbed" with a bladed weapon.
A woman was also found with the same type of wounds.
The four of them were rushed to hospital for treatment.
West Yorkshire Police have now confirmed a woman has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
Natalia Skorek, 23, who lives a few doors away from the address, told how she and her mother were shocked to hear loud screams this morning.
She said: “My mum heard some screaming around 7am."
“But we thought it was the neighbours on the other side because they have kids and sometimes hear them shouting.
“So we didn’t think anything of it.
