Hospital car park fines slammed as hardworking NHS nurse is slapped with £80 bill during 12-hour shift
Operator also fined radiographer who was using a hire car
A NURSE has slammed as "disgusting" hospital car parking fees after receiving an £80 fine -- during her 12-hour shift.
She was forced to use a visitor car park because the staff one -- which users have to bay £30 a month to use -- was completely full.
reports the woman was left shocked after discovering her car had a fine notice placed on the windscreen after a gruelling shift.
The nurse, who did not want to be named, is challenging the fine. Her husband vowed: "We’re not paying. It’s disgusting”.
Amazingly, a radiographer at the SAME hospital was also penalised when her hire car's registration plate was not recognised by the recognition cameras.
