COPS are hunting a heartless thief who stole a poppy charity collection box from the counter of a McDonald's.
CCTV footage appears to show the shameless scoundrel untie the chain from the collection box before slipping it underneath his coat.
The suspect, who visited the restaurant, in Bromley south on Sunday November 1 at about 8.30am, left the restaurant, with an unknown amount in change.
He is described as in his 40s and wearing a brown cap, beige coat, black trousers and black shoes.

Police Constable Vlad Balog, investigating officer from Bromley borough said: "At a time when we wear a poppy and think of those who gave their lives for us and our country, it is appalling to see such a selfish act.
"We are keen to identify the man in the CCTV footage so that we can speak to him about the incident. We would also urge anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us."
