A MISSING ten-year-old girl, abducted at a church service, could be in "grave danger".
Texas schoolgirl Kayla Gomez was last seen on Tuesday night.
Police believe she was taken by a stranger from the First Assembly of God church in Bullard .
Cherokee County Sheriff James Campbell called Kayla "a sweet little girl, just as cute as could be".
He added: "They seem to be a very good, hard-working, religious family with no problems."
A $60,000 reward, raised from $13,000, is being offered for her safe return and a vigil was held on Wednesday night outside the city hall in Bullard.
A Facebook page called Help Find Kayla Gomez says: "Authorities believe she was abducted by a stranger and could be in grave danger."
It adds: "When the prayer service was finished Kayla went to sit in the lobby. Family members say her mom was talking with people for a few minutes and when they turned around Kayla wasn't there."

Relative describe Kayla as a bright, happy girl who adores her brothers.
Marissa Boerger, whose children go to school with the missing ten-year-old, was at the vigil and told WLOX TV: "It hurts when it’s really close to home.
"This is not a Baptist thing, it’s not a Catholic thing or a Church of Christ thing, it’s our community and people of faith who believe in prayer coming together for a joint effort to pray."
The Help Find Kayla Gomez Facebook page asks supporters to wear pink, her favourite colour.
It says: "We will be adding pink ribbon to our vehicles also, on back windshield wiper or antennae, until she is brought home safely. We encourage you to do the same!"
