DONALD Trump's brash and confrontational statements have been a hallmark of the Republican's controversial run for the presidency.

Now his brazen style of campaigning has been compared to a loud, angry and obnoxious DINOSAUR from a 90s sitcom.

A video shared online shows an eerie similarity between Donald Trump and the 'Dinosaurs' character BP Richfield - the tyrannical boss of a fictional corporation.

Footage showing Trump and Richfield's more similar moments is introduced with the simple statement: "Donald Trump is the corporate triceratops BP Richfield. See for yourself."

It the compares dialogue from the show with real-life moments of Trump speeches and public appearances.

In one example, Trump is seen repeatedly yelling "get him out of here" at a protester during a rally.

In the show, BP Richfield does almost exactly the same to a group of employees.

Trump's now infamous "grab them by the p***y" recording, in which he boasts of being able to do "whatever I want" to women also makes an appearance.

It emerges BP Richfield also claimed to be able to act with impunity - because he is the boss of the company.

More footage shows the fictional character and Trump both interjecting during conversations.

While Trump is seen repeatedly telling interviewer Anderson Cooper "excuse me", BP Richfield simply bellows: "I'm speaking!"
