Melania Trump blows up Twitter after saying she plans to target cyberbullying if she’s First Lady
Social media questioned the irony of her statement in the wake of Donald's frequent vitriolic attacks using the platform

MELANIA Trump's latest speech caused uproar on social media after saying she wanted to target cyberbullying if she becomes First Lady.
The wife of Donald Trump appeared to have completely forgotten her husband's penchant for using Twitter to attack his adversaries, often in a very vitriolic manner.
She was making her first public speaking appearance for the billionaire's campaign since she appeared at the Republican National Conference in July.
Melania stepped out to the sounds of "Aquarius" from the hit Seventies hippie musical Hair, looking as groomed as ever in a white pencil skirt and pink bell sleeved shirt.
As she took to the stage the assembled crowd shouted: "I love you."
Speaking out about the issued of cyberbullying and social media, she said to the rally in Philadelphia: "Our culture has gotten too mean and too rough, especially to children and teenagers.
“We have to find a better way to talk to each other, to disagree with each other, to respect each other.”
Adding she wanted to make social media safe again she said: "It would be one of the many purposes of my work if I am privileged enough to become your first lady."
Twitter blew up in the wake of her comments, many highlighting the many negative tweets and insults her husband had sent on the platform.
Matthew Dowd tweeted: Melania's speech today would be like Bernie Madoff's wife giving a talk on integrity investment portfolios and fighting Ponzi schemes."
The banker was brought down and sent to jail for 150 years when he was found guilty of running the biggest fraudulent money scheme in U.S. history which lured investors in by guaranteeing unusually high returns.
Another person tweeted she should maybe look at locking down Trump's Twitter account.
Meanwhile Etten said she had talked about the topic of "cyberbullying" to the "point of suicide."
However some stuck up for the brunette, who has been labeled the next 'Jackie O" by Trump supporters.
Jasmine branded those being critical "hypocrites" and said Melania Trump would bring "class" to the White House.
Melania has spoken out before about her husband's use of Twitter.
In an inteview last month she when asked what she thought of his Tweets and if she had asked him to stop.
She said: “Yes, but it’s his decision. He is an adult. He knows the consequences. I give him many advices.
"But sometimes he listens and sometimes he doesn’t. And he will do what he wants to on the end as I would do what I want to do.”
The US Presidential election will be held on November 8th.
