Teenager claims she is up the duff and about to give birth to her ‘saviour’ despite negative pregnancy tests
Haley, 19, is positive she's nine months pregnant — but the teen has been branded a 'compulsive liar' by her family and church
AN AMERICAN teenager is claiming she is nine months pregnant – with baby Jesus.
Haley, 19, whose stomach is rounded, has taken numerous pregnancy tests and a pelvic exam, all of which have yielded negative results.
Despite this, the teen is positive she is about to give birth, and to her “saviour” no less.
Speaking on popular psychology talk show Dr Phil, the teen said: “I am pregnant, and it is Jesus.”
Haley’s worried mum Kristi has described her 19-year-old daughter as a “compulsive liar” who is also delusional.
She thinks Haley is lying about her pregnancy too.
Kristi said: “The first time I heard her say that, she actually was saying it was Jesus Christ in her stomach. I looked at her like she had lost her mind.
“She was just going off into a delusional tailspin.”
Launching back, Haley told the TV audience: “My family, my friends, my pastors at church, they don’t believe that I’m pregnant, but I know it’s Jesus.
“I was sleeping one night and my baby punched the bottom of my stomach and kicked me, and I can feel his head right here, right below my belly button.
“I don’t care if my family disowns me.
“It really comes down to if you’re a true believer in Jesus or not.
“I don’t care what the home pregnancy test or a doctor says; when I give birth to my baby, no one is going to deny him because he’s my saviour.”
Haley says she has gained two stone over the course of her alleged pregnancy.
The teen revealed she has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia on the show.
Her mother begged Dr Phil for help, saying: “I can’t keep living like this.
“We have to treat her like she’s actually pregnant to avoid conflict.
“I’m hoping Dr. Phil can let me know if this is part of her act or does she really need help.”
Haley will have an ultrasound in the second part of the special episode, where the results of her alleged pregnancy will be revealed once and for all.
