THE mysterious sight of a giant white bunny has been appearing at a bridge in London on the first day of every month to wave at drivers.
Motorists have been confused for months by the 6ft rabbit, dressed in a colourful waistcoat and scarf, which waves and makes the peace sign at people.
After spotting the bunny in Barnes, west London, passerby Sarah Travers tweeted: "What on earth was this white rabbit doing at 8am this morning on the terrace?"
But now the man behind the bunny has been unmasked.
The rabbit is in fact a project by a performance artist called Spike McLarrity who started popping up at Barnes bridge in November last year.
