Donald Trump to be Edenbridge Bonfire Night Guy after US Election candidate dubbed the biggest villain of 2016

DONALD Trump has been revealed as this years Guy to be burnt at Britain's most famous bonfire festival.

A huge effigy of the US Presidential hopeful has been unveiled ahead of the weekend's festivities in Edenbridge.

The Kent town holds a notorious Guy burning every year, which pokes fun at celebrities and politicians.

It has been held for more than 20 years now and has included famous faces such as Sepp Blatter, Katie Hopkins, Lance Armstrong and Cherie Blair.

The huge Trump is 36-feet tall and trouserless, as he is dubbed the biggest villain of 2016.

He is holding Hillary Clinton's head under one arm and striking a signature pose.

It will be burnt this Saturday on a huge bonfire, alongside a more traditional Guy Fawkes.

The festival starts with a torch-lit procession through the town before a fireworks display and the ceremonial burning of the famous bonfire.

All the money raised by the celebrations goes to local charities.

Each year we're told to “Remember, remember the fifth of November”, and the day is marked with bonfires and fireworks displays.

But why do we celebrate 5 November, and who exactly was Guy Fawkes?

Bonfire Night has been a British tradition since 1605 and it takes place every year on the 5th of November so make sure you don’t miss out.
