When they arrived at around 7.05am on Saturday, a man and a woman told them they needed assistance.

Cops then forced their way into the home and discovered five dead bodies.

They identified three of the bodies as Robert J. Crayton Jr, 45; Athalia A. Crayton, 46, and Kasin Crayton, 18.

Two minors aged 16 and 10 also died, but their names were not released.

Authorities say Robert allegedly shot and killed his wife and three kids and then he died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

There were two more people inside the home that managed to escape, according to cops.

Since 2014, police visited the family's home on five different occasions.

Most recently before the shooting, cops came to the home on January 3 and served an involuntary mental commitment order.

Police say there is no threat to the community and are still trying to figure out the motive of the alleged killer.
