Father of murdered bride-to-be killed in freak accident after being crushed to death by a tree
Robert Scott had just seen his daughter's killer jailed for life after his own life was cut short
THE father of murdered bride-to-be Stephanie Scott has been crushed to death by a tree in a cruel twist for the already shattered family.
Robert Scott was working on his farm when he was hit by a tree - just weeks after his daughter's killer was sentenced to life imprisonment for the school teacher's brutal murder.
The 25-year-old had searched violent rape, hardcore porn and murder in the months leading up to the brutal murder of the school teacher.
But the family has now been hit with another blow with the death of Robert, who was just 59.
, with the dedicated dad having been walking on the family's farm in Canowindra.
One person wrote: "My heart and thoughts are with this family. The only thing I can think of to say is now Stephanie can give her dad a big hug."
Another said: "What more heartbreak does this loving family need to endure? I'm so very sorry for another tragic loss for you all. My heart breaks".
A third wrote: "What absolutely heartbreaking news! This poor family have been through enough."

It is believed the 59-year-old had been clearing trees while on the property.
He had only just stood by his family during the sentencing for his daughter's killer, appearing in court on October 13.
A report will now be prepared for the Coroner.
The Supreme Court in Griffith heard the family's heartbreak at having lost Stephanie, with mother Merrilyn Scott describing her devastation that her daughter would never walk down the aisle to fiance Aaron Leeson-Woolley.
She told the court she struggled with nightmares, saying: "Did she see the knife? Did she see his fists as he beat her to oblivion?
She also slammed murderer Stanford, saying he was "pathetic".
It has since been revealed that killer Stanford is planning on appealing his life sentence.
The Court of Criminal Appeal said the Stanford's legal team had submitted a notice of intention to appeal last week,
