Speaking to The Sun, fellow volunteer and close friend Magdalena Szymaniak spoke about Stephanie's caring and cheerful persona.
"My heart is broken since I heard the news. She always cared about mother nature and her friends. She was full of love! I will always remember her as a funny and cheerful girl with her pink hoop.
"Her life was taken in a horrible and unnecessary way. She will be deeply missed. I loved her bubbly personality and I can't believe that she's gone."
A number of Stephanie's friends took to social media to pay tribute.
