A TWO-YEAR-OLD boy was rushed to hospital after plunging four storeys out of a block of flats in Aberdeen.

He was taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital where he said to be in a serious condition.

It is not yet known what injuries he suffered in the fall yesterday afternoon.

A Scottish Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We were called at 1.30pm. The patient was in a serious condition. It's not thought to be life-threatening.”

Cops are now probing the incident.

A police spokeswoman said: “We were made aware of reports at around 1.40pm of a two-year-old boy who had fallen from a window at a property in the Balnagask area of Torry.

“The youngster has been taken to Royal Aberdeen Children's Hospital for assessment.

“Enquiries are at an early stage.”
