Andrew and Tristan Tate arrested: How disgraced influencers were ‘caught out by pizza box that tipped off Romanian cops’
ANDREW Tate's social media spat with Greta Thunberg may have led to his arrest as a pizza box gave away his location, it is claimed.
The shamed former kickboxer was detained alongside his brother Tristan after their luxury mansion was raided by police.

They are being quizzed by cops over rape and human trafficking allegations.
Tate, 36, is being held alongside his brother and two other suspects after his house was raided in the capital, Bucharest.
It has since been suggested the sting may not have happened if Tate had not posted a video on Twitter mocking eco-warrior Greta.
The clip featured a stack of boxes from Romanian pizza chain Jerry's Pizza - seemingly revealing his location.

Sources close to the investigation told local news outlet that anti-mafia prosecutors realised Tate and his brother were in the country because of their social media.
Tate also posted scenic footage on Twitter on Christmas Day with the caption "Romania".
Civil rights attorney Alejandra Caraballo claims the pizza box likely gave away Tate and his brother's location.
She tweeted: "Romanian authorities needed proof that Andrew Tate was in the country, so they reportedly used his social media posts.

Greta taunted Tate on Twitter over the claims, writing: "This is what happens when you don’t recycle your pizza boxes."
In the clip Tate shared on social media, he said: "Please bring me pizza and make sure that these boxes are not recycled."
He was then handed packaging with Romanian text on it.
But Romanian police later said the pizza box was "not related" to his arrest.
"It's not related," a police spokeswoman told AFP.
"To determine whether a person is in the country or not, we use a whole range of means."
She stressed "arrest warrants and searches" had already been in place.
Tate was on Wednesday blasted for having "small d**k energy" by Greta after he attempted to troll the 19-year-old with a list of his car collection.
The kickboxer tried to goad the climate change campaigner by bragging about the "enormous emissions" of his vehicles.
He offered to send her a list of his 33 cars - including a Bugatti - if she gave him her email address.
Greta however responded by offering up her email address of "smalld**[email protected]om", to which he responded with the video featuring the pizza box.
The following day, Tate's Romanian home was raided by the Directorate for Investigating Organized Crime and Terrorism (DICCOT) in Bucharest, reports .
He and his brother, who are dual citizens of the US and UK, were detained over warrants issued in relation to forming an organised criminal group, international human trafficking, and rape.
The pair have reportedly been under investigation for the alleged kidnapping of two young women in their villa in the town of Voluntari.
Cops say so far six victims have come forward claiming they were sexually exploited by the organised criminal group.
A statement from the DIICOT said the British suspects lured victims using the "loverboy method" - claiming they loved them and intended to marry them.
The agency said female victims were then taken to buildings in Ilfov County, on Bucharest's outskirts, where they were "sexually exploited by group members".
Cops say the suspects used "physical violence and mental coercion" and that victims were forced to perform in pornographic videos for dissemination on social media.
Pictures and video show Tate and his brother being accompanied out of the house in handcuffs by cops.
Tate is seen with his hood up as armed police dressed in balaclavas led him away.
It is the second time his home was raided as part of the investigation, after cops arrived at his door back in April.
'THEY ARE GOING TO COME'
Rapper Cardi B appeared to mock Tate following his arrest as she shared a link to an article on it, tweeting simply: "Well well well...".
She later posted a single image of Greta with the caption "IDC" (I don't care).
Just weeks ago on a podcast, Tate said he believed he would be "arrested" as he claimed establishments were after him, despite protesting his innocence.
He said: "I would never, ever kill myself. I truly believe they are going to come and they're going to try and kill me in a long enough time frame.
"They've tried to shut me up, and I won't shut up. They're going to [either] try and put me in jail or they're going to kill me."
Controversial Tate initially gained fame after a short-lived appearance on Big Brother.
He was dumped from the reality show after alleged footage of him beating a woman emerged online.
Since then he has sparked revulsion and outrage with a wave of content online.
Washington DC-born Tate was accused of spreading hate towards women as he built his profile.
The influencer was banned from Twitter in 2017 for violating its terms of service with his controversial comments.
He has previously referred to women as "property" and said they should bear "some responsibility" if they are sexually assaulted.
In August, Tate was banned from a range of other social media sites.
TikTok banned him for misogyny, while Meta said he violated their policies around "Dangerous Individuals and Organisations".
He is also banned on YouTube.
Tate has denied accusations of misogyny and claimed that many of his clips are "taken out of context".
Tate's Twitter official account has now been reactivated after the takeover by Elon Musk.
