Murderer Damien Bendall styled himself as a thug but ‘was just p**s and wind’, sources say
KILLER Damien Bendall styled himself as a football thug and neo-Nazi to menace others but it was all a front, sources say.
His knuckles were tattooed “TRUE” and “BLUE” and his chest was inked with the Chelsea football crest — yet he had never been to Stamford Bridge to watch the team play.
The ex-bricklayer, brought up by mum Tracey, had Third Reich tats on his legs, but knew little about Nazis.
A close family friend said: “He fancied himself as a hardman but for the most part was just p**s and wind.
“He borrowed from other people’s identities.
He wanted to strike fear into people but in reality he was a misfit wanting to be somebody.
