Murderer Damien Bendall styled himself as a thug but ‘was just p**s and wind’, sources say

KILLER Damien Bendall styled himself as a football thug and neo-Nazi to menace others but it was all a front, sources say.

His knuckles were tattooed “TRUE” and “BLUE” and his chest was inked with the Chelsea football crest — yet he had never been to Stamford Bridge to watch the team play.

The ex-bricklayer, brought up by mum Tracey, had Third Reich tats on his legs, but knew little about Nazis.

A close family friend said: “He fancied himself as a hardman but for the most part was just p**s and wind.

“He borrowed from other people’s identities.

He wanted to strike fear into people but in reality he was a misfit wanting to be somebody.

“We all felt he was but only following a street fight.

"I can’t get my head round three children.

"He’s just an evil individual.”
