Michael Barrymore swimming pool death is a still a murder investigation, say cold case cops
Tragic Stuart Lubbock's dad still believes his son was murdered and that cops will uncover the truth
COLD case cops are still treating the death of a tragic dad at Michael Barrymore's home as murder.
Stuart Lubbock's lifeless body was found in Barrymore's swimming pool 15 years ago, and police have made a fresh call for information.
It comes after it emerged Barrymore has won a legal fight with cops over his arrest on suspicion of murdering and raping Lubbock.
Speaking about the developments, Lubbock's father Terry said: "It means a lot that they still believe he was murdered.
"I feel the pendulum is swinging in my favour and we could get to the truth.

"I have always believed he was murdered.
"I have an image in my mind of Stuart saying, ‘Keep the ball rolling, Dad’."
A police spokesman said: “The murder investigation remains open. We appeal to anyone with information to get in touch.”
Barrymore was arrested on suspicion of murder and rape in 2007.
Lubbock, 31, and others had been enjoying an all-night party at the TV star's mansion.
A post-mortem found he suffered severe internal injuries that suggested he was sexually assaulted.
The case against Barrymore was dropped three months later but his TV career never recovered.
The comedian began his legal battle against Essex police three years ago.
He claimed he should never have been arrested because there was no evidence of his involvement in the death.
High Court papers have shown police now accept liability and admit Barrymore was wrongfully arrested and detained.
Barrymore is seeking substantial damages.
