Britain’s saddest cat who has no teeth and cannot miaow finds home in time for Christmas
BRITAIN’S saddest cat who has no teeth and cannot miaow has found a home in time for Christmas.
Kato was handed in to a pet charity three times in two years by owners put off by her health problems.
The five-year-old had rotten teeth and an eye ulcer.
But now she has been taken in by Federica Pasari who says they were made for each other.
Kato even manages a squeak of appreciation.
But her health problems have got worse.

She now has a skin condition that makes her face bleed and her fur fall out.
Federica, of Milton Keynes, Bucks, says insurers will not cover the pre-existing illness so she is raising funds online.
She said: “Kato can't miaow but squeaks occasionally.
"She melts my heart. Kato’s my soulmate — the most beautiful baby.”

Kato first came to the Cats Protection charity from a multi-cat household during lockdown in 2020.
After being rehomed she was returned to the centre twice more.
The charity’s Isobel McCarroll said: “We understand how worrying it can be to have a cat with an ongoing condition.”
