Full list of school closures for Tuesday December 13 as more warnings for snow, ice and fog cover Britain

SCHOOLS up and down the country are planning for another day of closures today.

More snow, ice and fog are expected to cover Britain on Tuesday.

Pupils in counties including Gloucestershire, Cornwall, Devon and East Sussex were told to stay at home on Monday as a thick blanket of snow settled.

And Tuesday will be no different as Britain wakes up from a -15C deep freeze overnight.

Dozens of schools will be completely closed and moved to online learning - while more are expected to have later starts.

Here we break down areas where schools have announced closures or delayed starts.

CORNWALL

People in Cornwall have been urged not to travel.

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said it dealt with more than 300 reports of road traffic accidents linked to ice over the weekend.

There are a handful of school closures in the area.

However some are only partially closed.

At least nine schools have already announced they will either remain shut today, or open at a later time.
