A BRIT man has been killed and another injured after masked gunmen opened fire at a bar in St Lucia.
Donnie McKinnon and his friend Peter Jackson were drinking on a balcony on the Caribbean island when they were shot at, it is understood.
Mr McKinnon died at the scene while Mr Jackson, 72, was rushed to hospital following the incident on Saturday and is fighting for his life.
The pair were at Steve's Bar in Soufriere when masked gunmen fired at them, according to local reports.
Footage that The Sun Online has chosen not to publish appears to show the aftermath of the shooting.
Mr McKinnon, from Scotland, moved to the island 13 years ago while Mr Jackson, from Accrington, Lancashire, is believed to have lived on St Lucia for more than 30 years.

One local resident told the : "Everyone knew them. They were community people. This is sad."
Freelance photographer Mr Jackson owns a holiday home on the island and is the former director of the Soufriere Regional Development Foundation,
Mr McKinnon meanwhile managed Soufriere Estate, a 2,000-acre former working plantation on the island.
Cops on the island are investigating the alleged attack.
A police spokesman said: "We are looking into this shooting.
"We are speaking to people who were been present and may have seen something.
"We will leave no stone unturned as we investigate this fully."
A local council spokesman added: “The authorities are investigating a shooting incident which took place in Soufriere on Saturday afternoon which left one man dead and another nursing injuries at the hospital.”
Mr McKinnon is the 67th suspected murder victim on the island of less than 200,000 people this year.
A Foreign Office spokesman said: “We are urgently seeking more information from the government in St Lucia about an incident which took place yesterday.”
