BIZARRE footage has emerged purporting to show a tiny bug eating the FLESH of a teenager in a cemetery in Australia.

The youngster is seen left with a painful-looking red sore on his throat after the mystery bug swooped on him.

The incident occurred in Tasmania, though it's not known if the series of videos uploaded by the youngster and his friends are a hoax.

Footage filmed by one of the members of the group shows them walking through a cemetery late at night.

Suddenly, a bug appears to flutter in front the camera and one of the teens, named Tim, grabs at his throat.

The second video, filmed immediately after the incident, shows them inside someone's home.

The cameraman asks: "It looks bad. Does it hurt? It looks like it hurts."

Despite Tim looking shell-shocked by the incident, he claims the red and bloody wound isn't painful.

The camera operator then explains: "So we just got back from the graveyard and Tim's been bitten by some weird bug or something."

It ends with the group reviewing the footage of the incident on a laptop - though they are unable to explain what the mystery bug is.
