Bulwell explosion on Commercial Road: Blast destroys Nottingham home and leaves one injured with other houses evacuated
A MAN has been seriously injured by an explosion that destroyed the front of a home.
Nine other houses were evacuated as firefighters rushed to the end-of-terrace property in Bulwell, Nottingham, today.

Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "The incident has involved an explosion at an end terrace property on Commercial Road.
"The explosion has severely damaged the front ground floor of the property.
"We are working with colleagues to establish the cause of the explosion. Please continue to avoid the area."
The man who was injured has been taken to hospital via air ambulance.
Five fire engines are on the scene.
