A 72-YEAR-OLD woman allegedly threatened to kill Prime Minister Theresa May and sparked three bomb scares.
Isabella Jackson is accused of making death threats against the PM and also claiming there were bombs planted at two US embassies and at Harrods in London.
Jackson, of Buckhaven, Fife, allegedly sent emails from her house to then Home Secretary May which were intercepted by the Palace of Westminster and Government Communications HQ.
It's claimed she also fired off hoax emails to the US embassies in Paris and London and Harrods store, sparking fears that bombs were present.
The OAP faces five charges of threatening and abusive behaviour in total dating from November, 2014 to September, 2015.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today, defence solicitor Alistair Burleigh objected to a move to postpone a trial until December because witnesses were unavailable.
He said: "This does have the appearance of an indictment that was simply put together at the last minute with anything and everything that was in the Crown Office at the time."
Sheriff Jamie Gilchrist QC set a trial date in December with a further pre-trial hearing in November.
